Our 2021 Review
At Eastwise, we like to look back, especially after the year 2021 that we have just spent.
Our highlights can be summed up in 3 points:
A/ Business is business
Despite the restrictions linked to the pandemic, our teams have worked hard to continue to provide quality service to our clients. Our customers were resilient, and this is how we have continued to grow.
Our good relationships have been strengthened with our historical clients, whom we have supported in their development. And some of our one-shot business relationships in 2020 have become long-term clients in 2021, thanks to our ability to always be on the lookout for new services and new solutions.
B/ Top-notch teams
The men and women of Eastwise have been with you for many years. The stability of our teams is essential in order to offer you an unparalleled quality of service, availability and responsiveness.
In 2021, the growth of our business has enabled us to promote two long-standing team members to managerial positions, in order to offer greater responsiveness to our customers’ needs.
In addition, following an opportunity that arose thanks to one of our clients, we have opened an office in Tunisia. As near sourcing is on the rise, we chose to anticipate this trend by relocating part of our senior management to Europe. In addition to a regional coverage (Vietnam, Malaysia…), this allows us to serve you better!
C/ A new way to communicate
As you may have noticed, over the past year, we have decided to speak out!
Maintaining a privileged link with our employees, suppliers and customers has a double objective:
- Internally: to inform, dialogue and listen, because before being able to respond to needs, we need to know the daily life of our teams, and this requires sharing information.
- Externally: to share knowledge and know-how. Our business is not well known, and we are committed to explaining it to you in a spirit of transparency. Our website is now available in three languages: French, English and German. We publish original and relevant news on a regular basis in the hope of creating a true and lasting relationship with you.
Our 2022 roadmap
With that said, what does the future hold?
If the future is impossible to guess, we do know the projects that motivate us:
- Our team spirit: whether in terms of recruitment, training or development, we will encourage any career acceleration desired by our employees whenever possible,
- Our business development: new customers are about to join Eastwise, and in addition to the factories we work with, we are looking to surround ourselves with the best partners. See you in spring for a new kind of announcement!
Optimizing our digital processes: with the benefit of 15 years of experience, our tools are our strength. In the first half of the year, we will launch a new tool, the result of hard work, for your greater satisfaction.
As you can see, at Eastwise we have no shortage of ideas. And we are doing our best to implement them, with one watchword: adapt. 2022 is sure to be an intense year!
