At Eastwise, a specialist in responsible sourcing in Asia, we see social responsibility as a real opportunity. The opportunity to innovate, to progress, but above all to have a positive and tangible impact on our environment. Our CSR commitment is part of a long-term strategic vision and a shared desire to leave a positive footprint. This approach reflects our commitment to being an ethical, innovative, and sustainable player in the fields of international sourcing and sustainable sourcing.
“We firmly believe that a company can only grow in the long term if the men and women who make it up grow with it.”
— Cyrille Littler, CEO Eastwise
Our mission is to support European companies in sustainable, transparent sourcing that complies with the highest ethical standards. In 2023, we launched a materiality analysis with Marjorie Hobin from MIND UP CONSULTING to lay the foundations for a solid and relevant strategy.
This project had to meet two significant challenges:

“Listening to stakeholders and confronting change in an environment that encourages short-termism is a bold but essential exercise.”
— Marjorie, Mind Up Consulting
Our CSR approach is structured around five main pillars, each supported by concrete actions. This approach will guide our transformation over the coming years.
We have launched a 3-phase operational roadmap:
Phase 1 (2024-2025): 32 actions underway, 12 of which have already been finalised
Phase 2 (2025-2027): 44 new actions are currently being prioritised
Phase 3 (2028): continued change of scale
Total objective: 88 concrete actions to transform our practices over the long term.

We are aware that responsible sourcing is not an option, but a requirement for building resilient, humane and high-performance supply chains.
At Eastwise, our CSR Charter is not a static document: it’s a roadmap, a collective commitment, a lever for transformation. Because sustainable sourcing creates value for the environment, local communities, and our customers.
We will continue to listen, assess and improve. And, above all, to move forward.
“But beyond the indicators and action plans, it is above all a human adventure. This report is not the end, but rather a milestone. An invitation to continue, with commitment and high standards.
And with you.”
— Cyrille Littler, CEO Eastwise
Sustainable sourcing refers to the approach of sourcing products while considering their environmental, social, and economic impacts. At Eastwise, this also means fostering long-term collaboration with suppliers who are committed to upholding ethical practices.
Sustainability builds resilience. Now more than ever, we need to enhance the quality of our supply chains to reduce risks—whether environmental, social, or reputational. It also helps promote best practices, improve our partners’ performance, ensures compliance with regulations and meets the growing expectations of consumers and clients regarding transparency and responsibility.
We’ve strengthened our sourcing process by integrating criteria that include social and environmental compliance, along with a focus on core ethical principles. Beyond qualifications and certifications, what matters most is that suppliers are committed to continuous improvement. We’re also developing internal capabilities to monitor these criteria on-site.
We’ve developed our own supplier charter, which will soon be shared with all our suppliers and partners. This charter clearly outlines our requirements, responsibilities, and duties. It defines what partnership and performance mean to us, as well as our ethical standards. Additionally, it specifies our expectations concerning social fundamentals, aligned with the SA8000 standard.
Yes, we’ve created our own in-house social assessment tool, based on the SA8000 framework. This approach has been field-tested and is complemented by managerial training. Our goal is to offer a pragmatic, qualitative solution that goes beyond traditional social audits, fostering collaboration and transparency rather than just control.
