A trader has a product catalog. He buys merchandise from a supplier, which he then stores and resells. EastWise works with many suppliers and helps you develop a product, or find the one that fits your needs.
EastWise has developed a supplier assessment based on the international standard SA8000. We conduct interviews with the operational teams of suppliers in 13 different areas to give you a global and field vision of your suppliers, allowing us to build support and improvement plans with you.
Our evaluation can be done in addition to a BSCI or SEDEX audit.

Payment terms are negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Generally, for the 1st order, the factories expect to receive a deposit when you place the order, then the remaining value after validation of the inspection and shipment of the order. In any case, you Pay the supplier yourself and you then pay us.
Since 2005, we have been working with more than 300 suppliers on more than 8000 references. So, to choose the right supplier in Asia, we use our network and select the ones that best suit your needs. We carry out an analysis that includes 5 criteria: motivation, responsiveness, production capacity, plant location, competitive prices, as well as compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Average delivery times for products imported from Asia may vary depending on several factors such as the nature of the product, geographical distance, shipping terms, customs formalities, as well as agreements agreed with the supplier. At a minimum, it takes 45 days of production and 45 days of maritime transport.

During physical visits, we qualify competent suppliers according to our selection criteria, check the legal documents, standards and certificates available before carrying out a production product audit. Then, we continue a rigorous process: manufacturing and control of samples, definition of technical specifications before production. Finally, systematic inspection before shipment by our team of controllers. The process continues with continuous improvements and follow-up.
